Think Libya. Think desert. According to the source, these are not oil-rich local Libyans but foreign labourers from other states of Africa. It’s easily 35 degrees Celsius in the shade and no, they are not in the shade. From what I can see, it doesn’t look like a 10-minute drive along St. Kilda Boulevard, either.
Just when you thought you’d seen the photo of the week, here’s another one:

Not exactly a scene of commuters, but these are pilgrims returning to their hometowns after a three-day religious gathering in Multan, Pakistan. I’m sure there are just as many passengers IN the train, too.
Safety regulations, humanitarian concerns, and thanking God aside, how on earth do they hold on to their vehicle, let alone buckle up?
